Structures in the Landscape

Calling all photographers to explore the compelling dialogue between human-made structures and natural environments in our latest competition, "Structures in the Landscape."

We're looking for images that capture the fascinating relationship between architectural elements and their surrounding landscapes. Whether it's the geometric precision of wind turbines against a dramatic sky, the weathered romance of a seaside pier stretching into the horizon, or industrial structures reclaimed by nature – show us your unique perspective on how human engineering interfaces with the natural world.

How To Enter

Landscape Group members are invited to submit up to 3 images between 1 January - 21 April 2025. All images must have been taken in 2024. Before submitting, please resize your image to 2000px wide. Members can add their own image by clicking on the 'Add Photo' (below). After loading the image please add the title and your name, don't forget to include your RPS distinction.

Winners and runners-up will have their images displayed in RPS Landscape Group publications and on social media and on Fotovues website or social media.

All Landscape Group members will be invited to vote and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced on the RPS Landscape Group website and Social Media in May.

Open for entries: 1 January - 21 April 2024

Voting: 22 - 28 April 2024

The Prize: Choose from one of Fotovue's outdoor photography books.

Copyright remains with the originator and each photographer shall be deemed to warrant that they own the entire copyright in the work.

The RPS Landscape Group reserves the right to display any entry on the Landscape Group's web pages or social media and Fotovue's website and social media. If we do so, we will always credit the photographer. Images must have been taken in 2024. When submitting your image please use the following naming convention (image-title-by-firstname-lastname).
